AI client integration (MCP)

Create Shopee listings, check sales and profit, search products, and view or update inventory right from your conversations with Claude or ChatGPT. Just connect with your SellBridge account — the AI only acts within your own tenant.

What you need

  • A SellBridge account on the Basic plan or higher. AI client integration is not available on the Free plan.
  • At least one connected Shopee store.
  • An AI client that supports MCP (see below).

The endpoint is https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp. The transport is the MCP-standard Streamable HTTP and authentication uses OAuth 2.1, so no app registration or manual key setup is needed in advance.

How to connect

Claude.ai / Claude Desktop

  1. Open Settings → “Connectors” → “Add custom connector”
  2. Enter https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp as the URL
  3. Sign in to SellBridge when prompted, then click “Allow” on the consent screen

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http sell-bridge https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp

ChatGPT

  1. Open the screen for adding a connector (custom connector / MCP)
  2. Enter https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp as the URL and complete the OAuth consent

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sell-bridge": { "url": "https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp" }
  }
}

VS Code

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json.

{
  "servers": {
    "sell-bridge": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp" }
  }
}

On the first tool call, the client starts OAuth automatically. The consent screen shows the name of the connecting app. If you don’t recognize the app name, do not allow it.

Example prompts

Once connected, just ask in everyday words.

  • “List the Shopee stores connected to SellBridge”
  • “What were last month’s sales and profit margin?”
  • “Draft a Shopee listing from Amazon ASIN B0BZ8DZJQ6 and check the category candidates and required attributes”
  • “Check whether this product name and description comply with Shopee’s listing rules”

What you can do

Everything works only on your own tenant’s data.

CategoryDetails
StoresList connected stores and check their connection status
Categories / attributesGet the categories, attributes, brands and shipping channels needed for listing
ResearchDraft listing information from an Amazon ASIN
ComplianceCheck prohibited and cautionary words, and search prohibited and restricted item rules
PricingCalculate recommended prices and estimate profit at a given price
Sales & profit analyticsKPIs, weekly and monthly sales and order counts, profit tables, low-profit orders
Products & inventory (read)Search and view the product catalog, inventory records and counts by status
Orders (read)Periodic order list retrieval, order details, per-order profit summaries
Shopee live dataDirect lookup of listings, variations and per-category listing limits on Shopee
ImagesUpload product images and apply branding frames
Listing templatesList saved listing templates and get their contents
Create listings⚠️Create single listings and listings with variations
Edit listings⚠️Update stock, price, product name, SKU, installment settings and visibility of existing listings
Unlist / delete⚠️Unlist and delete listings (cannot be restored)

Categories marked ⚠️ actually change inventory, prices and listing status. Deleting and unlisting cannot be undone. Rather than leaving everything to the AI, we recommend reviewing what will run before allowing it.

Permissions and data handling

  • Tenant isolation: Every call runs with the credentials of the one tenant you consented to. Passing another tenant’s ID as an argument does not resolve in that tenant, so it cannot be reached.
  • We don’t store your conversations: The server records the name of the tool called, the response time and whether it succeeded. For operations that change inventory, prices or listing status, it additionally records only a summary centered on target IDs and counts, and does not record product descriptions, image URLs and the like. It never reads conversation history or files on the AI client side.
  • Revoking access: You can disconnect connected connectors at any time from SellBridge Settings → “Integrations” → “API keys” tab. Disconnecting revokes the access token and the consent record.
  • Unattended jobs: For jobs without browser interaction, such as cron or batch jobs, use an API key (a string starting with sk_) issued from the same “API keys” tab. You can narrow its scope per use and revoke keys individually.
  • Differences by plan: Connecting from AI clients is available on Basic and above, but the “API keys” tab above (disconnecting connectors and issuing API keys) is a Standard-and-above screen. If you are on Basic, please contact support.

Troubleshooting

  • Keeps asking you to sign in / 401: Your token has expired. Reconnect from your client.
  • Only certain tools are refused: Your scope or plan is insufficient. Check your plan and what you are trying to do. On the Free plan, all tools are refused.
  • “Unverified app” warning: This means the connecting app has not been verified by SellBridge. If you don’t recognize the app name, do not allow it.

If this doesn’t solve the problem, contact support@sell-bridge.com.

For reviewers (English)

SellBridge is a SaaS dashboard for Japanese cross-border sellers on Shopee. This MCP server lets an AI client work with the seller's own SellBridge tenant: read sales, profit, inventory, catalog and orders, and create or maintain Shopee listings.

  • Endpoint: https://mcp.sell-bridge.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
  • Auth: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. No manual client setup is required — the client starts the flow on first use.
  • Plan requirement: the free plan is deliberately not entitled to these tools. Every call from a free-plan account is refused. Use a basic-or-higher account.
  • Scope of data: every call is scoped to the single tenant the credential belongs to. The tools that write to a live Shopee store are the ones marked ⚠️ in the table above; your client asks for approval before running a tool.

To test in about ten minutes: add the endpoint as a custom connector, complete the OAuth consent, then ask for the connected stores, last month's sales, a listing draft from an Amazon ASIN, and a compliance check — the four prompts listed under Example prompts above.
